Nutra Ingredients is the leading platform and news source for the functional food and dietary supplement industries in Europe, Asia and America.
It is the first year Nutra Ingredients Asia have introduced the sports nutrition category to their annual awards line-up, in 'recognising that sports and active nutrition products are positioned for huge growth in both niche and athletic populations and the more mainstream active consumer.'
The award celebrates the best branded or own-label supplements, functional foods and beverages positioned to enhance athletic performance and recovery.
At the awards ceremony, it was announced: “Extensive research, good traction and even greater scope for future growth were admired by the judges”
This accolade comes just a few months after a peer-reviewed meta-analysis study declared New Zealand blackcurrant the most effective legal performance-enhancing supplement available. Eight of the nine studies evaluated were on CurraNZ.
Since 2015 we have published over 20 peer-reviewed studies and CurraNZ is now used for performance and recovery by some of the biggest names in international sport.
