US pro ultra runner sets new record with CurraNZ

CurraNZ ambassador Hayden Hawks made a sensational comeback from surgery when setting a new course record at Black Canyons 100km ultra-marathon in Arizona last month.

The Utah pro ultra-runner booked his ticket to Western States in California in June in his first race since a DNF at Western States, which was followed by knee surgery in 2023.

Hayden stopped the clock in 7:30:18 and beat his 2020 winning time by 25 minutes, when he missed the record by a minute – something he didn’t want to repeat this time.

‘It felt amazing to do what I was able to do at the highest level’, he said after the race, in which he lowered the record by more than two minutes, set in 2023.

We look forward to seeing Hayden race Western States in June, powered by our award-winning supplement.
